Centrally situated in downtown Oakland, the former I. Magnin building
is well-known for its distinctive green terra cotta and black marble
façade. A classic art deco structure, the building is listed on
the National Historic Register. SRM Associates purchased the building
in May 2000 and performed a comprehensive rehabilitation including:
an award winning seismic upgrade, brand new electrical/mechanical
data systems and new interior finishes.  The result is a modern
work environment within one of Oakland's most recognized historic structures.
